Questions about partnering

What kind of discounts and rewards are available?
Competitive partner discounts of up to 30%, plus a 5% stackable Competitive Take-out bonus for displacing a competitor's tool in an active deal.
What partner types does the program support?
Three pillars: Enablers (System Integrators who deploy and integrate the platform), Amplifiers (MSSPs, agencies, resellers, and procurement networks), and Enhancers (ISVs and complementary technology partners). Benefits scale with the type of partnership.
How fast can we get set up?
Your demo instance is provisioned as part of your enablement kit within 24 hours of signing, ready to show customers on Day 1. It comes pre-loaded with sample data across every module, so you can start running evaluations right away. Deep-dive API integration guides are also available for technology partners building a deeper integration.
Can I sell Siemba alongside competing products?
Yes, Siemba does not require exclusivity. You are free to represent other security testing vendors. Certain incentives, including the Competitive Take-out Bonus and priority co-sell support, apply when Siemba is the primary or sole platform in scope.
Can I white-label the Siemba platform under my own brand?
Yes, for Amplifier (MSSP/Reseller) partners at Silver tier and above. Customers see your brand in the portal, your name on reports, and your contact details for support. The underlying platform is Siemba, but the experience is yours.
How does Siemba handle customer data and compliance?
Siemba is SOC 2 Type II certified. Customer data is stored in isolated, customer-specific tenants with no cross-tenant sharing, and testing only runs on targets explicitly authorized by the customer. Reporting supports SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST CSF, OWASP Top 10, ISO 27001, and NIS2.
Will I get real support, or just a portal login?
Every partner is assigned a dedicated Partner Success Manager, plus a Solutions Engineer for technical pre-sales support.
How often is the platform updated?
Siemba ships continuously, typically 2 to 4 releases per month, with advance notice before any major or breaking change, so you are never caught off guard with a customer.
How do I officially become a Siemba Partner?
Go to partners.siemba.io/register and complete the registration form. Within 48 hours your Partner Success Manager will contact you to confirm your partner type and discuss tier selection. Portal access and discounts activate the same day the agreement is accepted while signing up for the portal.

Pro tip: Register before your first customer conversation, as deal registration rights only apply once the agreement is signed.
What is the difference between Enabler, Amplifier, and Enhancer and how do I know which one I am?
Enablers: System Integrators who deploy, configure, and operationalize Siemba within enterprise customer environments. You own the delivery.

Amplifiers: MSSPs, Resellers, and Agencies who sell Siemba powered services or licenses. You own the customer relationship and ongoing managed delivery.

Enhancers: ISVs and technology platforms who integrate their product into the Siemba CTEM ecosystem. You build and sell a joint technical solution.

Most partners naturally fit one. If you span two (e.g., an MSSP that also resells), choose the pillar that matches your primary revenue motion. You can discuss a dual designation with your Partner Success Manager.
Is there a referral only or agent track where I introduce deals but do not resell or deliver?
Yes. Referral and agent arrangements are supported under the Amplifier pillar on a case by case basis. You register the lead in the portal, Siemba handles the commercial relationship and delivery, and you receive a referral commission. Commission rates and deal protection terms are defined in your specific partner agreement.

Contact your Partner Success Manager or email partners@siemba.io to structure a referral agreement before making any customer introduction.

Important: Do not introduce a prospect to Siemba without a signed referral agreement in place. Unregistered introductions are not commission protected.
What does Day 1 look like after my agreement is signed?
Within 24 hours of counter signature you will receive:

Partner Portal access email — log in at partners.siemba.io to access the enablement kit.
Enablement Kit download link — Sales Playbook, pitch deck, one-pagers, competitive battle cards, and demo environment credentials.
Calendar invite from your Partner Success Manager — for a 30-minute kickoff call to align on your 30-60-90 day plan and first three target accounts.
Tier badge and co-branding assets — logo files and approved co-branding guidelines.

Your first active task: log in to the portal, download the enablement kit, and book your first demo environment walk-through.

Pro tip: You can request an expedited demo environment spin-up for urgent customer POCs by emailing partners@siemba.io.
How long does product certification take and is it mandatory?
Siemba offers certification modules through the partner portal. The first certification (Siemba CTEM Fundamentals) takes approximately 2–4 hours. Advanced certifications (PTaaS Delivery, EASM Specialist, GenPT Practitioner) each take 4–8 hours and are required for tier advancement.

Certifications are completed online, at your own pace. No scheduling required. Results are automatically tracked in your partner profile.

Pro tip: Partners who complete certification in Week 1 unlock margin benefits an average of 3 weeks earlier than those who wait.
Can I sell Siemba alongside competing products?
Siemba does not impose exclusivity on partners. You may continue to represent other security testing vendors. However, certain incentives — specifically the Competitive Take-out Bonus (an additional 5% discount for displacing a named competitor) and priority co-sell resource allocation — are available only for deals where Siemba is the primary or sole security testing platform in scope.

Siemba tracks and rewards partners who actively drive platform consolidation. Partners with high win rates against specific competitors gain priority access to competitive enablement resources.
What partner discounts do I get and when do they activate?
Discounts are tier-based and activate the day your agreement is countersigned:

Registered: 15% off list price on all Siemba licenses.
Silver: 20% off list price.
Gold: 25% off list price.
Platinum: 30% off list price + optional 5% Competitive Take-out Bonus.

Discounts apply to new licenses and renewals. Professional services engagements (PTaaS, advisory) are priced separately. Confirm your applicable discount schedule with your Partner Success Manager as deal-specific pricing may vary for large enterprise opportunities.
What are the revenue targets to advance tiers and what happens if I miss them?
Tier advancement requirements:

Registered → Silver: $50,000 ARR generated + 1 Siemba certification completed.
Silver → Gold: $150,000 ARR generated + 2 certifications completed.
Gold → Platinum: $500,000 ARR generated + 3 certifications completed + active co-sell pipeline.

Tiers are reviewed annually. If you fall below the revenue threshold for your current tier during a review period, Siemba applies a 90-day grace period to recover before downgrading. You will receive a formal notice from your Partner Success Manager at least 60 days before any tier change takes effect. Grace period customers retain current-tier pricing during the recovery window.

Important: Tier downgrade affects your discount rate at the start of the following quarter, not immediately. MDF funds already approved are honored regardless of tier change.
What is the Competitive Take-out Bonus and exactly how do I qualify?
The Competitive Take-out Bonus is an additional 5% discount (stackable on top of your Platinum tier discount, giving 35% total) for deals where the customer is actively displacing a named competitor product and switching to Siemba as the primary CTEM platform.

To qualify: the displacing deal must be registered in the partner portal with the competitor name specified; the customer must sign a Siemba contract within 60 days of deal registration; the bonus applies to Year 1 contract value only; and it is eligible only for Platinum tier partners.

Submit qualification evidence (competitor invoice, renewal notice, or written customer confirmation of displacement) to your Partner Success Manager to activate the bonus.
Can I negotiate custom pricing for large or strategic deals?
Yes. For deals above $250,000 TCV (total contract value), Siemba's commercial team will work with you on custom pricing, multi-year structures, and volume bundling. Submit large deal requests through the portal or directly to partners@siemba.io. Siemba aims to respond with a commercial proposal within 3 business days.

Custom pricing agreements do not supersede your standard partner discount — they are additive. Your Partner Success Manager negotiates on your behalf internally.

Pro tip: Always register large deals before beginning price negotiations with the customer. Unregistered large deals are not eligible for custom pricing support.
How does billing and payment work, does the customer pay Siemba or me?
This depends on your partner type:

Reseller/Amplifier: You purchase licenses from Siemba at the partner discount and bill the customer directly at your margin. You own the invoice relationship.
Referral/Agent: Siemba invoices the customer directly. Your referral commission is paid by Siemba within 30 days of confirmed customer payment.
Enabler/Integrator: Billing depends on whether you are also reselling the license or just delivering services. Confirm your billing structure with your Partner Success Manager during the kickoff call.
How do I register a deal and how long is it protected?
Log into the partner portal at partners.siemba.io, navigate to Deal Registration, and complete the form with the prospect name, estimated deal size, and expected close date. Siemba will confirm registration acceptance within 24 hours.

Once approved: deal protection is valid for 90 days from the date of registration; you can extend protection once by 45 days if the deal is actively progressing (attach a customer email or meeting record as evidence); and if the deal is not registered, Siemba cannot guarantee price protection or co-sell support even if you introduced the prospect.

Important: Register before your first meeting with the prospect, not after. If another partner registers the same account first, they hold priority. Siemba notifies both parties and facilitates a resolution, but the first registration wins.
What co-sell resources can I request and for what deal sizes?
Siemba co-sell resources scale with deal size and tier:

Under $25K: Self-serve demo + portal materials. Registered+, no lead time.
$25K–$100K: Pre-sales SE + custom demo. Silver+, 2 business days.
$100K–$250K: SE + Solution Architect + exec briefing. Gold+, 3 business days.
Over $250K: Full co-sell team + CISO introduction. Platinum / case-by-case, same week.

Pro tip: For strategic deals (over $100K), always request co-sell support at deal registration, not 2 days before the customer presentation.
What happens if Siemba is also selling directly into the same account I registered?
Siemba operates a partner-first commercial model. If you have a registered deal on an account, Siemba's direct sales team is notified and will not pursue that account independently for the duration of your deal protection period.

If a conflict arises (e.g., the customer also approaches Siemba directly), your Partner Success Manager escalates to the VP of Global Alliances within 24 hours. Resolution options include joint co-sell, deal hand back, or commercial mediation.

If Siemba becomes aware of a named account before you register it, the account is not automatically protected. First registration wins.

Important: Siemba does not have a 'house accounts' list that blocks partners. However, named strategic accounts assigned to Siemba's enterprise team may require joint approval for partner involvement. Ask your Partner Success Manager to check account status before investing sales time.
How do I report a closed deal and trigger commission or MDF credit?
Within 5 business days of contract signature, log into the partner portal and update the registered deal to 'Closed Won'. Attach a copy of the signed order form or purchase order.

This triggers:

Commission processing (referral partners): payment within 30 days of customer payment confirmation.
MDF eligibility review (Silver+): credit applied to your MDF account within 10 business days.
Tier advancement credit: revenue counted toward your current year ARR target.
Partner success plan update: your Partner Success Manager schedules a 15 minute deal debrief and plans the customer success handoff.
Can I bring Siemba into an existing customer renewal I already own?
Yes, and this is actively encouraged. Existing customer expansions — adding Siemba to an account you already manage — are treated as new deal registrations with full margin and co-sell support eligibility.

Siemba considers renewals and expansions separately: a renewal of an existing Siemba contract within your portfolio receives standard renewal margin. A net-new expansion (adding new Siemba modules or users to an existing customer) earns full new business margin.

Pro tip: Partner led expansions are one of the fastest paths to tier advancement — they close faster than net-new, use less sales effort, and count fully toward ARR targets.
What is MDF and how much do I get?
Marketing Development Funds (MDF) are a budget allocation from Siemba to co-fund partner-led marketing activities. MDF eligibility is tier-based:

Registered: Not eligible.
Silver: MDF available as a percentage of closed ARR (confirm exact rate with your Partner Success Manager). Typically used for webinars, content creation, and digital campaigns.
Gold: Higher MDF allocation plus event co-sponsorship and Siemba speaker availability.
Platinum: Full MDF access including executive-to-executive programs, co-hosted events, and paid media support.

MDF is applied retroactively against closed ARR each quarter. Submit an MDF request form in the portal, get approval, execute the activity, and Siemba reimburses eligible expenses within 60 days of receipt of invoices.

Important: MDF is use-it-or-lose-it within each annual period. Unused balances do not roll over.
What can MDF be spent on and what is NOT eligible?
Eligible uses: webinars and virtual events; digital advertising (LinkedIn, Google) targeting Siemba ICP; content creation (white papers, case studies, videos); and demand generation campaigns and email programs.

Not eligible: partner staff salaries or general overhead; non Siemba product marketing; internal partner training costs not tied to Siemba certification; and gifts, entertainment, or travel not connected to a specific Siemba branded event.
How do I get listed on siemba.io/partners and is it automatic?
Partner listing on siemba.io is not automatic — it is an earned benefit that activates once your partner webpage is live and has been approved by your Partner Alliance Manager.

To trigger your listing: complete the mandatory two launch activities — (1) publish a dedicated Siemba page on your website and (2) release the joint press release; submit your staging URL and PR draft to your Partner Alliance Manager for review and dual sign-off (Siemba Alliances + Marketing), allowing 5 business days; and once approved, Siemba adds your logo, name, and partner type to siemba.io/partners within 5 business days.

Siemba provides all the copy, logo assets, and PR template you need to complete both activities within 30 days of signing. See the Partner Launch Checklist in your portal.

Pro tip: Partners listed on siemba.io/partners receive inbound leads generated by Siemba's web traffic. Completing the launch activities quickly directly impacts your lead flow.
Can I use the Siemba logo and name in my marketing? What are the rules?
Yes, subject to the Siemba Brand & Co-branding Guidelines included in your enablement kit. Key rules: always use the approved logo files provided in your asset pack (do not recreate or modify the logo); use the approved lockup — 'Partner Name, a Siemba Registered/Silver/Gold/Platinum Partner' or 'Powered by Siemba'; do not claim product capabilities, certifications, or statistics not published at siemba.io; all external marketing materials that feature the Siemba brand or product must be submitted for approval to partners@siemba.io before publishing (allow 5 business days); and the Gartner Hype Cycle citation requires the mandatory Gartner disclaimer to be included verbatim (see the PR template for the approved disclaimer text; this requires additional approvals before publishing).

Important: Publishing unapproved co-branded content is a breach of the partner agreement and can suspend your deal registration and MDF rights.
Can I white-label the Siemba platform under my own brand?
White-label delivery is available for Amplifier (MSSP/Reseller) partners at Silver tier and above. Under white-label, customers see your brand in the portal interface, your name on reports, and your contact details for support. The underlying platform is Siemba, but the customer experience is yours.

To activate white-label: confirm white-label eligibility with your Partner Success Manager (it must be specified in your partner agreement); provide your brand assets (logo, colors, contact details) to the Siemba partner onboarding team; and allow 10 business days for white-label instance configuration.
How quickly can I get a demo environment and can I show it to a customer on Day 1?
Depending on your tier, your demo instance is provisioned as part of the enablement kit delivered within 24 hours of agreement signing. It is ready to show customers on Day 1.

The demo environment includes: pre-loaded sample vulnerability data across EASM, GenVA, GenPT, and PTaaS modules; an interactive CTEM dashboard with realistic findings and remediation workflows; Siemba AISO (AI Security Officer) demo prompts ready for live customer questions; and one-click report generation for SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST, and HIPAA.

For customer-specific POCs (live scanning of the customer's environment), request a POC environment via partners@siemba.io. Siemba provisions POC environments within 2 business days.
What integrations does the Siemba platform support out of the box?
Siemba integrates natively with the following tools, no custom development required:

Ticketing & ITSM: Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub Issues, GitLab, Azure DevOps.
Communication: Slack, Microsoft Teams.
CI/CD Pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, with native security gates.
Cloud Environments: AWS, Azure, GCP for EASM and attack surface discovery.
APIs: REST, GraphQL, and SOAP API testing supported natively in GenPT.
Compliance Reporting: SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST, OWASP, NIS2, one-click export.

For custom integrations or partner specific connectors (Enhancer partners), Siemba provides deep-dive API integration guides and a dedicated Solutions Engineer. Access the API documentation in the partner portal under 'Technical Resources.'
How does technical pre-sales support work and how do I request it?
Pre-sales technical support is available to all partner tiers. The process: submit a pre-sales support request via the partner portal or by emailing partners@siemba.io; include the deal size, customer name (under NDA if needed), technical questions or objections, and required date; Siemba assigns a dedicated Solutions Engineer within 2 business days (Gold/Platinum) or 3 business days (Registered/Silver); and the SE will join your customer call, provide a customized demo, and respond to technical questions on your behalf.

For RFP and RFQ responses, Siemba will complete the technical sections of the document. Submit the RFP to partners@siemba.io with a minimum of 5 business days before the due date.

Pro tip: Siemba also offers a 'Deal Desk' for complex technical scoping — request it through your Partner Success Manager for deals above $100K.
What does the Siemba platform actually test and how do I explain it to a non-technical buyer?
One sentence summary for a business audience: Siemba continuously tests your organization's applications, APIs, and public-facing infrastructure the way a real attacker would, before attackers do.

For technical audiences, the platform spans:

EASM (External Attack Surface Management): discovers and maps everything exposed on the internet — domains, IPs, cloud assets, shadow IT.
GenVA (AI Driven Vulnerability Assessments): automated, always-on vulnerability scanning with AI-driven prioritization. Replaces manual VA cycles.
GenPT (AI Driven DAST): Dynamic Application Security Testing for web apps, APIs, and microservices. One-click launch, continuous results.
PTaaS (Penetration Testing as a Service): expert ethical hackers + AI automation for deep-dive, compliance-ready penetration tests.
AISO (AI Security Officer): AI assistant that synthesizes findings, answers security questions, and produces executive ready risk summaries.
How does the Siemba platform handle customer data and compliance?
Siemba is SOC 2 Type II certified. Customer data (scan results, findings, reports) is stored in isolated, customer-specific tenants with no cross-tenant data sharing. Testing is conducted only on in-scope targets explicitly authorized by the customer.

Compliance frameworks supported for customer reporting: SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST CSF, OWASP Top 10, ISO 27001, NIS2.

For enterprise customers with data residency requirements, confirm regional hosting availability with your Partner Success Manager — Siemba supports US, EU, and APAC data residency options.
Who is my primary point of contact at Siemba and what do they own?
Every partner is assigned a Partner Success Manager (PSM) as their single point of contact. Your PSM owns: onboarding and agreement execution; deal registration approvals and conflict resolution; tier review and advancement planning; MDF request approvals and campaign coordination; and quarterly business reviews and revenue planning.

For technical queries, you are also assigned a Partner Solutions Engineer for pre-sales support. For marketing, a Partner Marketing Manager handles MDF requests and co-branded campaign approvals.

Your PSM's contact details are in the partner portal under 'My Team.' Contact them directly via email or book time through the portal scheduling link.
What are the support SLAs and what if I need to escalate?
Support SLAs (all via partners@siemba.io):

Onboarding & portal access: 48 hours.
Deal registration: 24 hours.
Pre-sales / technical demo: 2 business days.
Marketing & MDF: 5 business days.
Billing & contract queries: 3 business days.
Escalations (any topic): same business day.

For formal escalations above PSM level, contact partners@siemba.io, cc your PSM, and mark the email 'ESCALATION - Partner Name'. The VP of Global Alliances will respond the same business day.
How often is the Siemba platform updated and how are partners notified?
Siemba releases platform updates on a continuous delivery model, typically 2–4 releases per month. Major releases (new modules, breaking API changes) are communicated to partners via: partner portal release notes (published 10 business days before major changes take effect); email notification to your registered portal account; and a quarterly partner briefing — a 30-minute live session with Siemba's product team (registration link sent by your PSM).

For Platinum partners: exclusive access to the executive roadmap briefing (bi-annual) and the ability to submit feature requests that are formally tracked in the product backlog.
Is there a Siemba partner community or advisory council I can join?
Yes. The Siemba Partner Advisory Council meets quarterly and is open by invitation to Gold and Platinum partners. Council members provide direct input to Siemba's product roadmap, partner program structure, and pricing. If you are eligible and interested, ask your Partner Success Manager to nominate you.

All partners have access to the partner community forum in the portal — a shared space for peer Q&A, campaign collaboration, and technical knowledge sharing.
How do I handle a customer support issue on a live Siemba deployment?
For customer-facing production issues on live Siemba deployments:

Severity 1 (platform down or data unavailable): call the Siemba partner hotline (number in your portal under 'Emergency Contacts'). Response within 1 hour.
Severity 2 (feature impaired, workaround available): email partners@siemba.io. Response within 4 business hours.
Severity 3 (non-critical, cosmetic): submit a ticket in the partner portal. Response within 2 business days.

For white-label deployments: Siemba provides support to you as the partner; you manage the customer-facing support relationship. Siemba can provide joint support on critical issues if escalated by your PSM.
What happens at annual renewal for my partnership agreement and my customers' contracts?
Partner agreement renewal: your partnership agreement is reviewed annually, 60 days before the renewal date; your PSM will initiate a business review and present a renewal proposal, including any tier adjustments based on ARR performance; and you have 30 days to accept, negotiate, or flag issues before the agreement auto-renews on the same terms.

Customer contract renewals: Siemba notifies you 60 days before each customer renewal under your portfolio; you own the renewal conversation with the customer (Siemba supports with renewal pricing, expansion options, and ROI data); and renewals that include a product expansion (new modules or users) earn new-business margin on the expanded portion.
